Season’s Greetings!

The Mining City Christmas & Holiday Giving Program is a collaborative effort between Action Inc., Toys-for-Tots, the Butte Emergency Food Bank, the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation, and KBOW-KOPR Radio that aims to ensure all Butte citizens can experience the joy of the holiday season without regard for income. The program provides qualifying families and senior citizens with food and gifts for the holidays. Action Inc., on behalf of its partners, invites you to participate in the 34th annual Mining City Christmas & Holiday Giving Program.

How can you help?

• Donate to Action Inc.: The Mining City Christmas & Holiday Giving Program is solely dependent on donations. Action Inc. does not receive public funds for this program and all monies received go directly to helping families and senior citizens in need. Donations are tax deductible and can be mailed to Action Inc. at 25 W. Silver St. or can be made by clicking the donate button on the Action Inc. website at butteassistanceprograms.org

• Donate Toys to Toys-for-Tots: Toys-for-Tots has marked receptacles throughout the community where new toys can be donated.

• Donate Food to the Butte Emergency Food Bank!

• Adopt-A-Family: Businesses, clubs, and individuals can adopt families and shop for them using a wish list provided by the family in their application. Adoptions are coordinated through Action Inc. The last day to adopt a family is Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Contact Erica Johnson at 533.6847 to adopt a family.

By clicking the links below you can access a fillable application to complete. Once finished, you can email it to admin@action-inc.org or drop it off at Action Inc., located at 25 W. Silver Street.

Applications are accepted at and processed by Action Inc. located at 25 W. Silver St. in Butte. If applicants are over-income, extenuating circumstances may be considered, and a statement of hardship must then be submitted along with the application.

Applications will be accepted from October 13, 2025, to December 16, 2025.
